The indie rock band from Northern Ireland Two Door Cinema Club made an announcement about #BlackLivesMatter movement on their official social media accounts. The band released a new brand EP titled Lost Songs (Found) which arrived with seven songs last week. The band’s latest announcement reveals that they are sorry for promoting their new EP during the #BlackLivesMatter demonstrations. They will make a donation to the bail project and to victim fundraising appeals.
SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED THAT WE PUT SOME UNRELEASED MUSIC UP ONLINE LAST WEEK. WE FELT THAT IT WASN’T THE RIGHT TIME TO BE PROMOTING IT BECAUSE OF THE BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT. IT STILL DOESN’T FEEL LIKE THE RIGHT TIME TO BE HONEST BUT THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS LISTENED TO IT. WE SUPPORT THE FIGHT FOR EQUALITY FOR BLACK PEOPLE AND PEOPLE OF COLOUR. WE’LL BE MAKING A DONATION TO THE BAIL PROJECT AND TO VICTIM FUNDRAISING APPEALS.
STAY SAFE X
