
The Maccabees former front-man Orlando Weeks has announced a new solo album. The release date of the album is not revealed yet. However, Weeks said it is “very nearly done”. He has been working on this solo projects since 18 months. The social media announcement includes a new information about UK tour.

Orlando Weeks commented about the his first solo LP like that:
For me, holding my nerve has been a large part of finishing a record and there’s a certain confidence that comes from discovering a song can survive in a room full of strangers.
The Maccabees were an English indie rock band, formed in 2004. They have released four studio albums:
- Colour It In (2007)
- Wall of Arms (2009)
- Given to the Wild (2012)
- Marks to Prove It (2015)
