Morrissey’s Music Is Banned In Famous Record Store ‘Spillers Records’

According to NME, the famous record store Spillers Records in Cardiff has decided to ban Morrissey’s music. The reason for banning is Morrissey’s support for the right wing populist party “For Britain”. The decision is announced after Morrissey attended The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He wore a badge with right-wing party For Britain logo.

I’m sad, but I’m not surprised Spillers can not release Morrissey anymore,” said Ashli Todd, owner of Spillers Records , according to The Guardian. “I would just like to have done it earlier,” she said.

After the announcement, the right wing populist party founder Anne Marie Waters have sent a video to Morrissey where she says that with his support the number of members has increased at the party. You can see the picture from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon above.

Morrissey released his new solo album last Friday, featuring songs by Johnny Mitchell, Roy Orbinson and Bob Dylan, and with collaborations with Green Day, Grizzly Bear and Broken Social Scene.
