The degenerative joint disease, osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common type of arthritis. When musicians get old, they might have this kind of sickness. Liam Gallagher, the old Oasis lead singer is now suffering from this sickness which forces him to stop jogging and having acupuncture treatment to relive the pain.
Liam Gallagher explained the situation in a new interview. He told to Q Magazine that:
This geezer is mega, he doesn’t f**k about. He gets the needles and whacks them in. He sorts [the arthritis pain] but it keeps coming back. Acupuncture is alright, at least it’s needles, so I can convince myself it’s still a bit rock ‘n’ roll. – Q Magazine
Fortunately, osteoarthritis does not prevent him from creating new music. Liam Gallagher is currently working on his second solo album, you can read more about it here.
He has announced that his new documentary film, ‘As It Was‘, is coming to cinemas this week, on June 6. You can watch the trailer below.
