Jazmine Sullivan has performed her new song Called Tragic at the 2021 BET Awards. Before she appeared, Rep. Maxine Waters pronounced: “Reclaiming my time.” (The words “reclaiming my time” are a central theme of Sullivan’s new single.) Sullivan then performed Heaux Tales’ song “On It” with Ari Lennox.
Nominated for two BET Awards this year ( Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Album of the Year), Sullivan won Album of the Year with Heaux Tales.
