Las Vegas-based American indie rock band Imagine Dragons have been announced as a musical act for the UEFA Champions League final in June 2019.
The indie rock band will perform at the Estádio Metropolitano in Madrid on June 1 at the opening ceremony of the final match between Tottenham Spurs and Liverpool FC. The performance, which is broadcast in over 200 countries, should start exactly ten minutes before kick-off.
Dan Reynolds, the band’s lead singer shared on social media an announcement; “We are honored to play for some of the most passionate football fans on the planet at the opening ceremony of the UEFA Champions League final. We’re going to do a fantastic show in Madrid“. You can watch the announcement video below.
