Fountains of Wayne Announce Colored Vinyl Reissue of Welcome Interstate Managers

The American rock band Fountains of Wayne are reissuing their third studio album titled Welcome Interstate Managers. The album was released in 2003. The new record will be released as a 2xLP on red vinyl, including the bonus track “Elevator Up,” the B-Side to the band’s hit single “Stacy’s Mom.” It will be out May 28 via Real Gone Music.

This is the first time that Welcome Interstate Managers has been widely released  to public. The reissue was pressed at Cleveland, Ohio’s Gotta Groove Records, and the package will also include a gatefold jacket and two printed inner sleeves with lyrics.

Last year, Fountains of Wayne reunited for their first live performance in seven years as a tribute to their late bandmate Adam Schlesinger—who died last April of COVID-19 complications. The coronavirus relief benefit concert featured Sharon Van Etten.
