Depeche Mode has just revealed the supporting acts for the North American leg of their upcoming “Memento Mori” tour. The synth-pop legends, Dave Gahan and Martin Gore, will embark on their journey next month after the release of their highly anticipated 15th studio album, “Memento Mori,” on March 17th via Columbia/Mute.
Fans will be thrilled to know that Kelly Lee Owens will kick off the tour as the opening act, including stops in LA, Vegas, Chicago, and Toronto. However, Owens will not perform at Depeche Mode’s New York concert on April 14th, where Stella Rose, Gahan’s daughter, will take the stage instead. More North American tour dates are expected to be announced soon, so keep an eye out!
After the North American run, Depeche Mode will head over to Europe, the UK, and Ireland for more live shows. Get your tickets for UK shows here.
Support for first leg of the Memento Mori World Tour will be @kellyleeowens, with the exception of the New York show, which will feature support from @stellarosexxxx. Additional North American shows will be announced shortly.https://t.co/RQ8fE9xv6c pic.twitter.com/dpfnGO0HHd

“Memento Mori” is the duo’s first album since the passing of founding member Andy Fletcher and follows their 2017 release, “Spirit.” Fans can look forward to a new single, “Ghosts Again,” set to drop tomorrow, February 9th.
In a recent interview with NME, Gahan opened up about his hesitation towards making a new Depeche Mode album. He admitted that at first, he wasn’t quite ready to dive into it, but eventually, he embraced the process. Unfortunately, Fletcher did not record any material for the new album.
