The American ambient pop band Cigarettes After Sex have announced a new album titled Cry. The band’s second studio album will be released on October 25, 2019. The band have released the lead single Heavenly with the announcement. The lead vocalist/guitarist Greg Gonzales said this song was inspired by the overwhelming beauty felt watching an endless sunset on a secluded beach in Latvia one summer night. You can listen new song below.
The new album of the band was recorded at a mansion on the island of Mallarco. The lead vocalist Greg Gonzales said:
The sound of this record is completely tied to the location for me. Ultimately, I view this record as a film. It was shot in this stunning, exotic location, and it stitches all these different characters and scenes together, but in the end is really about romance, beauty & sexuality. It’s a very personal telling of what those things mean to me.
