Bright Eyes Share New Song “Miracle of Life” For Planned Parenthood

The American indie rock band Bright Eyes have released a new song called Miracle of Life For Planned Parenthood. The track is  available exclusively on Bandcamp until October 28. Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers sing on the track. Speaking of the song in a press release, Conor Oberst said;

This song should not exist in 2020 America. It is a protest song, I guess. Or maybe just a little story about what was, what still is in many parts of the world and what could be again here in this country if the GOP is successful in reshaping the Supreme Court and rolling back all of the hard fought progress made for reproductive rights in the last 50 years. Hopefully, if we all work together and vote, it will make this song sound as irrelevant and outdated as it should.

Today, October 25, Bright eyes will perform a Planned Parenthood’s virtual Village of Love festival. The fest will also include Phoebe Bridgers, Angel Olsen, Kathleen Hanna, Weyes Blood, Tenacious D., Perfume Genius, and more. The event kicks off at 9 p.m. Eastern on Sunday.
